NOMMAI · LOCAL AI
Delete your data
Your diary is local. No NommAI account is required.
No account to delete
The current prototype has no NommAI account and no developer-hosted meal database. This page explains local data removal. It is not an account-deletion request form. If accounts are introduced, in-app and web account-deletion methods will be added before release.
Delete a saved meal and its app photo
- Open the diary and select the meal to open Meal details.
- Choose Delete meal & saved photo.
- The meal record and its saved compressed photo are removed from the app’s current diary storage.
The original image in your photo library is not deleted. This action does not delete copies in device backups.
Stop saving future meal photos
Turn off Keep this meal photo on the review page. Photo retention is off by default. Previously saved photos stay until their meals are deleted or app storage is removed.
Remove all current app data
iPhone/iPad: use Settings → General → iPhone Storage → NommAI → Delete App. Choose Delete App, not Offload App. Offloading preserves documents and data.
Android: use Settings → Apps → NommAI → Storage → Clear storage or Clear data. Names vary by device. This removes app-local meals, profile settings and downloaded files. Uninstalling also removes current app-local storage, subject to platform restore/backup behavior.
The current prototype has no in-app “erase everything” button. Removing all app data also removes downloaded model files and resets preferences. Reinstalling may restore a backup depending on your device settings.
Original photos and backups
Manage original images and Recently Deleted/Trash in your Photos app separately. Review iCloud or Android/Google backup settings and remove relevant backups through those services if you want to prevent restoration. NommAI cannot remove OS-managed backups remotely.
Privacy requests
For records stored only on your device, removal is immediate through the controls above, subject to caches/backups. No developer-held meal records exist in local mode. Public support and privacy contact details are being finalized before launch; no request form is offered until a real monitored contact channel exists.
See the Privacy Policy for data handling and third-party network requests.
