Product and current availability

NommAI is developed by Danilo Canivel and is currently a development prototype for adult meal tracking. Public App Store and Google Play downloads are not available yet. These terms describe its intended use and current prototype limits.

NommAI is developed by Danilo Canivel. A public support and privacy contact is being finalized before launch. This prototype policy is not ready for store submission until those contact details are provided.

Nutrition estimates and health

AI calorie, portion and macronutrient results are estimates. They may miss hidden ingredients, oils, preparation differences or serving sizes. Review and correct estimates before logging. A photo cannot reliably identify allergens or certify that food is safe to eat.

NommAI is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. It does not provide medical advice. Calorie goals and resting-metabolic-rate outputs are formula estimates, not measured metabolism. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical, dietary or weight-management decisions, especially during pregnancy, breastfeeding or when managing a condition or an eating disorder.

Free local models and optional future products

Running supported open-source models locally in NommAI will remain free. Local processing does not require a paid AI API subscription. You remain responsible for your device, storage, battery use and network charges for downloads. Future custom or fine-tuned premium models may be offered separately with clear pricing and terms. No paid subscription is offered by this prototype.

Your photos and content

You retain your rights to your photos and entries. Use images you have permission to process. The current app does not take a license to collect meal photos for training, advertising or publication.

Model licenses and availability

Third-party models and software have their own licenses. See Model licenses. Free local inference does not change those licenses. Models can disagree, fail, take time to run or be incompatible with a device. Downloads need connectivity and storage; offline operation requires the model files to be available.

Responsible use and local storage

Do not use the app to violate another person’s privacy or rights, interfere with services or evade applicable model licenses. You control your local diary and backups. Deleting app data may permanently remove entries; there is no hosted diary recovery service in the current build.

Store rules and consumer rights

Use is also subject to the applicable Apple or Google store terms for your platform. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights or protections available under applicable law. If a paid product is introduced, its billing, cancellation and refund rules must be disclosed before purchase. The prototype does not promise an accuracy level or uninterrupted availability.

Changes and contact

Features and supported models may change as development continues. Material changes to data handling or paid offerings will need updated disclosures. Privacy is described in the Privacy Policy. Support/contact arrangements must be finalized before public release.
